Dress Code

male students

For all levels: Solid black “bike” shorts. Fitted light blue t-shirt. Black ballet, jazz, & tap shoes.

female students

Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet: Light pink leotard. Dance skirts may be worn for tap. Hair worn neatly off face.

Level 1: Black leotard. Dance skirts may be worn for tap. Hair worn neatly in a bun.

Level 2: Black leotard. Dance skirts, solid black jazz shorts or pants may be worn for tap & jazz. Hair worn neatly in bun.

Level 3: Black leotard. Hair worn neatly in bun.

Level 4: Black leotard. Hair worn neatly in bun.

Level 5: Black leotard. Legwarmers may be worn for beginning of barre. Ballet skirts may be worn for entire class. Hair worn neatly in a bun.

Level 6: Black leotard on weekdays, and any colored leotard on Saturdays and rehearsals. Light pink or black tights, and tights may be rolled up to the calf.  Warm up accessories (leg warmers, warm-up shorts, ballet sweaters etc) may be worn for barre. Ballet skirts may be worn for entire class. Hair worn neatly in a bun.

Tap A, B, B+: Black leotard. Dance skirts or solid black jazz shorts or pants may be worn. Hair pulled back neatly off face.

Jazz A, B, C: Black leotard. Dance skirts or solid black jazz shorts or pants may be worn. Hair pulled back neatly off face.

Students ages 9 and up must wear appropriate street clothes over their dance attire when going to and from the studio.
