THE SCHOOL OF CLASSICAL BALLET & DANCE STORY
Welcome to SCBD! Celebrating children and the arts, the school’s vision is to bring the art of dance into the heart of New Braunfels and its families.
SCBD places classical ballet at the core of its curriculum. Tap and jazz classes teach a student new movements and style, expanding their training and also bringing a lot of fun! Focusing on building strong foundations of technique in all our classes, we aspire to teach our students grace, poise, and strength.
We are also home to the SCBD Youth Company, a classical ballet company comprised of young local artists training at the School of Classical Ballet & Dance. It is our goal to give these artists pre-professional experience, and give the New Braunfels area many classical ballet productions!
Above all else, the School of Classical Ballet & Dance desires its students to know the joy of dancing and to inspire them to be the best they can be.
